1. Several conferences and events are coming up, especially for students and parents. We would highly encourage all of you to attend these special events, especially if you have been seeking to learn more how the Lord wants to work in you in the stage of life as an Asian-American student and as a parent.
2. For those wanting to get baptized on Easter Sunday (April 8) or want to learn more about baptism, baptism classes will be held on March 31 at Pastor Hsieh's home. If you would like to register, please talk with Pastor Hsieh, Emily Hsieh, or any of the the church council members.
3. A church-wide congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, March 3 at 11:00am between the Chinese and English Worship Services. Those that are church members (baptized at CCIC or transferred membership to CCIC) are asked to attend. |

There are some new mid-week events happening in the English Ministry that we'd like to highlight: - Cedar Rapids Mid-Week English Bible Study:
Wednesday nights (7-9 pm) at Nathaniel and Sim Hakes’s house in the Cedar Rapids area.
Believers and seekers are all welcome!

Due to the ongoing snowfall throughout the day, we will be cancelling all Friday activities for this Friday, Jan 20. The Chinese New Year celebration/events will be instead held NEXT Friday, Jan 27. Please stay home and off the roads for your safety.
The weather should clear up over the weekend, so we hope to see you on Sunday!

1. Fall Festival:
Tomorrow (10/31) we have our annual Fall
Festival from 5:30-8pm. It will be here
in the main sanctuary. We will have dinner, worship, games, and a costume
contest for Bible characters (separated into kid and adult categories – lots of
prizes!). Please save the date and plan on coming. Elder Zhang will help take
photographs of families.
2. Daylight
Savings: Next Sunday (11/6) will be daylight
savings. Please do not forget to set your clock one hour back. (On Saturday
night at 11pm, change your clock to read 10pm.)
